Creative Connections (Pilot)
Creative Connections is a pilot project for what we hope to be a 12 month programme that will be rolled out across the whole island. The initial pilot is based in Holyhead and takes 8 people, who would not normally be accessing art, on a journey of exploration, learning and growth. As our resident artists introduce them to a range of techniques, we will also talk about using art as an outlet and a form of meditation. At the end of the project we are holding a community exhibition to show off the amazing creations of our participants.
IMPACT
Through the full project (funding dependent) we intend to:
- impact the lives of 96 people through our workshops
- introduce over 2000 people to the project through in person and digital exhibitons
- break down the barriers to participation by showcasing art created with natural and household mediums such as coffee.
