What is That Purple Place?
Not just a physical space but a state of mind
Everyone has heard of the idea of a happy place, but consider this; happiness is fleeting. Its a moment in time, a temporary response to an experience or environment. While happiness comes and goes, Your Purple Place is something much deeper. Its not just an emotion; its a mindset an enduring sense of contentment, fulfilment, and alignment with your true self. Its a space within you that offers a sense of peace and purpose, no matter the circumstances.
That Purple Place began its journey in the small port town of Holyhead in North Wales, envisioned as more than just a physical location. It was created to be a sanctuary for the community a place to take pride in, to feel a sense of belonging, and to escape the chaos of everyday life. Here, people can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves through mindfulness and self-love. Whether seeking personal growth, inner calm, or simply a moment of stillness, That Purple Place provides the foundation for a more meaningful and intentional way of living.
After two successful years at the hub, That Purple Place is now expanding into the wider community and beyond - keep your eyes peeled for our bright purple van, delivering beautiful calming events in your local area.
Meet The Team

Abi Vance
I founded That Purple Place in 2022 after the loss of my grandson Noah. At that time I needed some where safe, calm and healing and I found I had nowhere to go. I hope what we have created will stop others feeling as lost as I did. I am a Mindset coach and trainer by trade and I live in Llanerchymedd with my husband Chris, my children, grandaughter, and 3 very spoilt dogs!

Beth Walton
I am a director of That Purple Place and I helped Abi to get it off the ground back in 2022. I am a qualified holisitic therapist and I am Holyhead born and bred and proud. I have many strings to my bow including working for the Wales Tourism Alliance. I live in Trearddur Bay with my husband Stu and my daughter Daisy.
